HARMONIOUS & STRONG

This is one of the first projects that Marcel van der Schalk, commissioned by KPMG, has realized as an independent architect. The client decided in the course of the project that they would take the whole building into use, with the result that the original design was extended and adapted. As a result, Marcel has, for example, designed many extensions such as the restaurant, connecting corridors and entrances. Marcel is the interior designer of this building and also partly responsible for the exterior design.

The building has been used to full satisfaction by KPMG for 18 years as headquarters. In recent years, however, a need for modernization has arisen, KPMG will therefore move around 2010 to the new building that is a stone's throw away (also along the A9). Our agency has designed both the interior and the exterior of this new head office, to see more, go to the project 'Office Langerhuize'. Currently there is a new residential purpose for this building, to see our designs, look at our project 'The Mayor'.
