This villa is situated on a dike in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. The residents of this house have a fantastic view over the Amstel and the meadows beyond. The clients had as a starting point that they could enjoy the view from their living room, as well as the garden located on the dike. From the living room you can directly use the terrace and the garden. The clients wanted to separate the sleeping areas on the upper floor. These are separated by a light court that also provides the staircase with daylight. At the bottom of the dike beneath the living area, a double garage, the guest room, a second bathroom, a sauna and a solarium are located in the plinth of the building.
